AP Calculus 4/22/14

For all of those in 2nd period who signed up for the test for Thursday, you can all come.  I have a list of those people who wanted to participate.  If you show up and are not on the list, you won't be allowed in.  We have limited room and the way it worked out is we can only allow those who showed interest today.

Please be prompt and ready to go at 9:30 at Devry.  Meet in the lobby and someone should have information where we are being tested.  If there are any reports of people not following directions, your practice test will not count and you will have -3.5 hours.  Ms. Pierce is being nice enough to take on all sections of AB and BC.  Be respectful.

I will post the handout from class today and their answers at a later date.

Honors Calculus 4/11/14

Have a great spring break!

For those who want it, extra credit problems are below.  Calculators are necessary.  All work must be shown if you want credit.

AP Calculus 4/11/14

The Monday we come back, April 21st, there will be a memorization quiz covering derivatives and integrals.  (p 371 and p 378)

Then, on Tuesday, there's a test covering the areas between curves and solid by revolutions/cross-sections.  Be ready.  I'll see if I can post some answers related to the six from Thursday's handout.

Have a good spring break.  I know the last thing one wants to do with their time off is study, but this is a great opportunity to do so.  Please, please, please set some time aside or multiple days to get all of your work done.  This goes for those of you with one or sometimes multiple AP classes.  The goal is to get college credit for these courses.  You have the opportunity to save 1,000's of $'s and be ahead of the game.  Good luck.

ANSWERS and some more non-calculator problems.
