Next A Class: Test covering 2.1-2.4
Topics include:
2.1/ Using limits to find derivative
2.2/ Basic Derivative Properties
2.3/ Product and Quotient Rule
2.4/ Chain Rule
Suggested problems from the Chapter 2 review are: 1,3,17-31 odds, 41-57 odds, 65-79 odds.
Also review writing equations of tangent lines. That'll be on there, too.
Next B Class: Have problems done from 2.4. We will have time time to review for a test listed for the A class above.

The homework for the next class period is p 71-72/ 5-11 odds, 17, 19, 25-30, 33, and 34.
AP Calculus 10/15/14
Quiz will be Thursday for 3A and Friday for 1B. No formulas will be given. You must remember the limit definition of the derivative, ways to evaluate derivatives (power rule, quotient rule, product rule, etc.), how to write equations of lines, and falling object equations.

AP Calculus 10/13/14
For the next class period, make sure you have worked through 2.3/ 1-69 every 4th problem. You will have some hw quizzes/quizlets to make corrections to during the class period. The second half of the period you will have a quiz. No notes or formulas will be given to you. Know about evaluating a derivative using limits, derivative rules from 2.2 and 2.3, and falling object motion. Bring a calculator, too.
